- MYLE System
The idea of the M.Y.L.E. (More Yarn Less Energy) System was born from considerations about the thickness of the tubes, produced for our customers for different types of spinning frames. The need for save material and energy are is to reduce the outside diameter of the tubes, without affecting their performance and resistance.
Idea was to start to research for a new plastic material which could provide higher mechanical features, higher resistance to high temperatures and higher resistance to stresses than the standard materials commonly used.

Scaglia S.p.A. (Italy) is Manufacturer from 1838 for Textile Accessories.
The production include every kind of Plastic Tubes and Aluminum Tubes for all Brands of Textile
Machine Manufacturers for Spinning, Roving, Covering or Twisting.
Plastic Mould are manufactured in Brembilla Factory (Italy) allowing Scaglia to develop special features for to be always on top on the market.
Nylon and 30% Fibre glass (stabilized with 1,8% of humidity, special process only by Scaglia) is the answer for strongest plastic tubes for autodoffing and hard steaming process.
Scaglia is the sole Manufacturer of Bi-colours bobbins with more than 100 combinations.
MACHINES FOR YARN WASTE REMOVAL
- STRIPEX is a patented machine for easy removing yarn waste from cylindrical support doing it in one stage only. It cleans perfectly the support without damaging the surface. Supports range are up to 200 mm in diameter and as long as 550 mm. Max removable waste thickness is about 100 mm. Nr. of pieces per hour between 350 / 500 according the supports.
- TAGLIASTRAZZA removes waste yarn from bobbins, tubes, metal cops in metal of any shapes, allowing a total recovery of it. Yarn is cut by a blade of hot compressed air without any contact between machine and support. The waste obtained is directly conveyed by air into a container.
Particularly advisable for thermoplastic yarns.
- E-STRIPEX is the economic one. It can be used only with cylindrical tubes (plastic or carton), not perforated and in case of small quantity of yarn to remove.
A suitable pneumatic cylinder push the tube through a special rubber ring and the yarn is removed in one step only.
